Tips

Prepare this tasty holiday snack with your favorite nuts. To avoid a salty mixture, use unsalted or lightly salted nuts.

Almonds contain a higher level of essential polyunsaturated fatty acids compared to most nuts and are thought to be a benefit to heart health. They are a good source of protein, magnesium, phosphorus and B vitamins.
