Cookies made with cookie cereal, the ultimate dessert mash-up!

Ingredients

pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ sugar cookie mix
1/2
cup butter, melted
1
egg
2
cups Holiday Sprinkles Cookie Crisp™ or Cookie Crisp™ cereal, finely crushed
3/4
cup Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy creamy vanilla frosting
Betty Crocker™ decorating candy sprinkles and sugars (assorted colors)

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. In medium bowl, stir cookie mix, melted butter and egg until soft dough forms. Stir in crushed cereal.
  • 2 On floured surface, roll dough 1/4 inch. Cut with 3-inch cookie cutters. On ungreased cookie sheets, place cutouts 1 inch apart.
  • 3 Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  • 4 Decorate as desired with frosting, sprinkles and sugars.
Tips  

To store the cookies, wrap tightly, label and freeze up to 6 months.
