1/2
lb. boneless pork loin, cut into thin strips
2 1/2
cups chicken broth
1/2

1/2

1/2
to 1 teaspoon Frank's™ RedHot™ Original cayenne pepper sauce

Tips

Hot pepper sauce gives dishes a spicier flavor than ground red pepper.

To achieve a richer flavor, professional chefs use concentrated soup bases instead of canned broth. Try using 2 1/2 teaspoons concentrated chicken base mixed with 2 1/2 cups hot water in place of the chicken broth in this gumbo.

Hot cornbread and iced tea are perfect accompaniments to this Southern-inspired gumbo. For dessert, serve another Southern specialty: pecan pie or pecan cookies.
