Here's a quick, easy recipe that's been in my family for three generations. Like any chili recipe, add (or subtract) any ingredients to customize to your liking.

Ingredients

pound lean ground beef

medium onion (diced)

cans condensed tomato soup
1
can (15 oz) red kidney beans (or chili beans)
1/2
teaspoon chili powder
1/4
teaspoon cayenne pepper
salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • 1 In medium saucepan, brown ground beef over medium heat. Add onion and cook until translucent.
  • 2 Add tomato soup, kidney beans, chili powder and cayenne pepper. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
