Three ingredients, two steps and five minutes are all you need to make this homemade honey and sage butter – a perfect gift giving condiment.

Ingredients

2
tablespoons finely chopped fresh sage
2
tablespoons honey
1/2
cup butter, softened

Directions

  • 1 In small microwave-safe bowl, combine chopped sage and honey; mix well. Microwave on High for 15 seconds. Cool 2 minutes.
  • 2 Beat butter in small bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until fluffy. Add honey mixture; beat well. Store in refrigerator.
Tips

This makes a cute gift when paired with kitchen accessories in bee designs. Look for bee napkins, butter spreaders and appetizer plates at specialty and kitchen supply stores. Arrange the whole assortment in a basket.
