This classic appetizer recipe for baked creamy crab dip is perfect for entertaining.

Ingredients

2
packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1
container (8 oz) sour cream
1/4
cup mayonnaise
1
tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1
tablespoon lemon juice
1
teaspoon ground mustard
1/4
teaspoon garlic salt
1
lb cooked fresh crabmeat
1
cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
Chopped fresh parsley, if desired
Toasted French bread rounds or crackers, if desired

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, mustard and garlic salt until blended. Fold in crabmeat.
  • 2 Spoon mixture into ungreased 11x7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish; sprinkle evenly with cheese.
  • 3 Bake uncovered 35 minutes or until bubbly. Garnish with parsley. Serve with French bread rounds.
Tips

For a rich and creamy cold dip, combine cooked crabmeat with cream cheese, sour cream and Cheddar cheese. For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and light sour cream.
