A refreshing pick-me-up! You don't need to visit a coffee shop for this refreshing coffee drink.

Ingredients

2
cups ground coffee
12
cups water
Sugar, if desired
Whipping (heavy) cream, if desired

Directions

  • 1 Prepare medium-strength coffee, using 1 cup of the ground coffee and 6 cups of the water; cool.
  • 2 Pour into 3 to 4 ice-cube trays; freeze at least 4 hours but no longer than 24 hours.
  • 3 Prepare medium-strength coffee, using remaining 1 cup ground coffee and 6 cups water. Place coffee cubes in pitcher; pour coffee into pitcher. Serve with sugar and cream.
Tips  

Make it extra-special by topping glasses with a dollop of whipped cream, a chocolate-coated espresso bean and a sprinkling of cocoa powder.

You can make endless variations of this iced coffee by using a different flavored coffee each time.
