I roasted whole fresh jalepanos in oven, took off skin, and took out some seeds (we like it HOT) and chopped very fine. DELISH!

Hi! This dip is best served hot from the oven. The dip may not be as loose and easy to dip if it’s served cold because of the way that the cream cheese hardens when chilled.

i like cutting down on fat, if it still tastes good: reduced fat cream cheese, lo fat best foods mayo, reduce amount of mayo, add lo fat or non fat sour cream, add 6 oz. can of drained crab meat & Spike seasoning or equivalent, also tabasco or more jalapenos.

I didn't have this recipe with me at the time I was making it, so I basically winged-it from memory..came out wonderful though, but I did manage to forget the bread crumbs. I'll definitely be making this again =)

Very yummy on Ritz crackers! Could use a little less breadcrumbs on top though.

This would also be lovely in a mushroom cap, just broil to the crispy point. Mmmmm. Now, I'm hungry.

Has anyone ever tried putting this together in a little slow cooker (minus the bread crumbs I would think) to keep warm longer? I want to make this for Christmas. We normally have munchies and snacks out all afternoon since everyone muches at different times. I don't want to have to keep heating this up.

I'm making this today for an appetizer! Its in the fridge waiting just gotta add the breadcrumbs. Can't wait to try it! The store was out of baguette slices & baguettes so I got melba toast and these really big garlic/butter "croutons" ( look like baguettes). So hopefully they go ok with it! Anyway thanks for the recipe and I will comment later with everyone's verdict! Happy Thanksgiving!!
