    Ingredients

    • 1 3 cooked chicken breasts, cut into bite site pieces
    • 2 1 Package of flour tortillas
    • 3 1 Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
    • 4 1 Can of Cream of Chicken Soup
    • 5 1 Can of Ro-Tel (including juices)
    • 6 1 8 oz. Package of Shredded Cheese

    Directions

    1. 1Grease casserole dish and break up tortillas in bottom (I use a pizza slicer to cut mine).
    2. 2Place cut up chicken on top.
    3. 3Mix soups and rotel and pour over chicken.
    4. 4Cover with shredded cheese.
    5. 5Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden brown.

    I'm allergic to mushrooms...is there any substitution I could use that would be a good ingredient?

    Just made this for dinner :) Its delicious... Only thing I will change next time is salsa instead of the Rotel, A little spicy lol

I sometimes make it with corn tortillas instead of flour and I only use cream of chicken because I dont like mushrooms. The first time I made it I used your exact recipe, but I have since added a few things that I think has improved the original recipe. I add Cumin, garlic powder, green chillies and velvetta cheese and that gives it a more mexican flavor and it also makes it much cheesier! I have had people ask me to cook it many times!! It is a FAVORITE at our house and amoung our friends. YUM!! Im getting hungry just thinking about it!! I rated the original recipe 4 stars but with my additions its a 5 star!!
