Pineapple cream cheese and peach preserves balance spicy cocktail sauce in a lovely spread that's ready in 15 minutes.

Ingredients

container (8 oz) pineapple cream cheese spread
1/2
cup peach or apricot preserves

tablespoons seafood cocktail sauce

bag (4 oz) frozen cooked salad shrimp, thawed, drained
2
medium green onions, thinly sliced (2 tablespoons)
1/4
cup coconut chips
Assorted crackers

Directions

  • 1 On 10- to 12-inch serving plate, spread cream cheese to within 1 inch of edge of plate. In small bowl, mix preserves and cocktail sauce. Spread over cream cheese.
  • 2 Top evenly with shrimp. Sprinkle with onions and coconut. Serve with crackers.
Tips  

This recipe updates a favorite classic shrimp spread with fruit flavors for a little sweetness.

Coconut chips are larger than flaked or shredded coconut. They can usually be found in the baking aisle. Flaked coconut could be substituted.
