Add color to your plate using frozen broccoli florets. A delicious side dish ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

bags (12 oz each) frozen broccoli florets
2
teaspoons olive or canola oil
6
cloves garlic, finely chopped
1
tablespoon grated lemon peel
1/2
teaspoon salt
1/8
teaspoon pepper

Directions

  • 1 Cook broccoli as directed on package; set aside.
  • 2 In 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Cook garlic in oil about 1 minute, stirring frequently, until golden brown.
  • 3 Stir in broccoli; cook 1 minute. Stir in lemon peel, salt and pepper.
Tips  

This flavorful broccoli dish could easily become a family favorite. Change the taste just a bit by using orange or lime peel instead of the lemon.

Try salt-free seasoning blend instead of the salt if you are watching your sodium.
