These sweet-and-sour margaritas are the perfect addition to your next cocktail party.

Ingredients

2
large lemons, cut in half
Coarse salt
2
cups cracked ice
1 1/4
cups tequila
1/3
cup colorless orange-flavored liqueur

Directions

  • 1 Rub rims of 8 stemmed glasses with 1 lemon half; dip rims of glasses into shallow dish of coarse salt.
  • 2 Squeeze juice from lemon halves to measure 1/2 cup. Place juice and remaining ingredients in blender. Cover and blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until foamy. Pour into glasses.
Tips  

Coarse salt is usually sold in 1-pound boxes near salt and other seasonings in the supermarket.

How about Key Lime Margaritas instead? Substitute about 4 Key limes (or 1/2 cup Key lime juice) for the 2 lemons.
