Ingredients

oz vanilla-flavored candy coating (almond bark), chopped

licorice twists

to 2 tablespoons candy decorations

Directions

  • 1 In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave candy coating uncovered on High 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds, until melted.
  • 2 Dip half of each licorice twist into melted candy coating. Sprinkle with candy decorations. Place on waxed paper; let stand until coating is firm, about 1 hour.
Tips  

For smaller appetites, cut licorice twists in half before dipping half of each piece into candy coating.

Tie colorful narrow ribbon around each licorice twist for an extra-festive party look. Or tie several licorice twists together for a party favor.
