Here's to summer eating and that favorite crunchy chicken salad with the ramen noodles! It's no wonder just about everybody loves it.

Ingredients

Dressing

1/3
cup sugar
3/4
teaspoon salt
1/2
teaspoon pepper
1/3
cup cider vinegar

tablespoons oil

Salad

cups finely shredded cabbage
1 1/2
cups cubed cooked chicken breast

green onion, thinly sliced

(3-oz.) pkg. chicken or oriental-flavor ramen noodle soup mix

tablespoons sliced or chopped almonds, toasted

teaspoons sesame seed, toasted

Directions

  • 1 In small bowl, combine all dressing ingredients; mix well.
  • 2 In large bowl, combine cabbage, chicken and onion; toss to mix. Crumble ramen noodles; discard seasoning packet or reserve for a later use. Add noodles, almonds and sesame seed to cabbage mixture. Add dressing; toss to coat.
