Liquid Marzipan Jello Shots

A jello shot version of one of my favorite after dinner drinks. Ginger ale and almond liqueur made into jello shots and dipped into sanding sugar for a nice little crunch.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup ginger ale
    • 2 envelopes plain gelatin
    • 1 cup almond liqueur
    • 3 tablespoons sanding sugar

    Directions

    1. 1Add the ginger ale to a saucepan, sprinkle the gelatin over the ginger ale. Let it sit for 2 minutes.
    2. 2Heat the ginger ale over low heat, stirring, until the gelatin has dissolved, about 5 minutes.
    3. 3Stir in the almond liqueur. Pour into an 8x8 pan.
    4. 4Refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.
    5. 5Cut into squares and dip the bottoms into the sanding sugar. Serve immediately.
