Louisiana Remoulade Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup vegetable or sunflower oil
  • 2 tablespoons stone mustard
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon old bay (or creole seasoning)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 lemon (juice only)
  • 1/3 cup minced celery
  • 1/3 cup minced scallion
  • 1/3 cup minced green onion

    Stir oil into the mayo and then add all the other spices.

    Mince celery, scallion, and green onion until very fine.

    Stir veggies into the sauce base. Feel free to adjust seasoning to your liking.

    Serve sauce with any fried fish or fries. It's also great on sandwiches!

    Store extra sauce in the fridge. It'll keep for at least a week.
