Looking for a fruit dessert? Then check out this delicious mango sorbet garnished with mint leaves.

Ingredients

cup water
1/2
cup powdered sugar
2
teaspoons lime juice
1
teaspoon grated lime peel
2
ripe mangoes, peeled, seeded and cut up (about 4 cups)
Mint leaves

Directions

  • 1 In food processor bowl with metal blade or blender container, combine all ingredients except mint leaves; process until smooth. Pour into nonmetal freezer container. Cover; freeze 4 to 5 hours or until almost firm, stirring occasionally.
  • 2 Line 12 muffin cups with foil baking cups. Spoon mixture into foil cups. Freeze at least 1 hour or until firm.
  • 3 To serve, let stand at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes. Garnish with mint leaves.
Tips  

Be patient with mangoes: They´re at their sweetest when absolutely ripe (slightly soft to the touch and red-tinged yellow skin instead of solid green). If you buy them hard, ripen them in a brown paper bag at room temperature for a few days.
