    Ingredients

    • 2 Tablespoons soft butter
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 1 can or fresh slices Pineapple
    • 3 Eggs
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1/3 cup water
    • 1 1/2 cups sifted cake flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/8 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla

    Directions

    1. 1In medium mixing bowl, beat eggs until very light.
    2. 2Gradually add sugar while continuing to beat eggs a little longer.
    3. 3Add vanilla and water.
    4. 4In small mixing bowl, sift flour with baking powder & salt.
    5. 5With a wisk or large spoon, fold sifted ingredients into egg mixture and blend well.
    6. 6On the stove top, place pineapple rings into bottom of the cast aluminum cookware and pour the blended ingredients over the pineapple slices then cover with the domed glass lid.
    7. 7Cook 35 minutes over medium heat. (Do not remove domed glass lid while cooking.)

    Don't forget melt butter and brown sugar in pan then place pineapple. Also 1 cup brown sugar really sweet. Try a little less.
