This pretty pie can be ready for the oven in only 15 minutes! A refrigerated crust and five more ingredients are all you need.

Ingredients

box Pillsbury™ refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box
1/2
cup sliced almonds
2
cans (21 oz each) cherry pie filling
1/2
cup semisweet chocolate chips
1
teaspoon water
2
teaspoons sugar

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 425°F. Make pie crusts as directed on box for Two-Crust Pie using 9-inch glass pie pan. Reserve 1 tablespoon almonds; sprinkle remaining almonds in bottom of crust-lined pan.
  • 2 In medium bowl, mix pie filling and chocolate chips. Spoon over almonds in pan. Top with second crust; seal edge and flute. Cut slits in several places in top crust. Brush water over top; sprinkle with reserved almonds and sugar.
  • 3 Cover edge of crust with strips of foil; bake 30 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Cool at least 3 hours before serving.
Tips  

Raspberry pie filling makes an equally delicious and festive looking pie. Or, use one can of cherry pie filling and one of raspberry!
