Cherries, blueberries and cranberries give this tart serious flavor, but the real star is the homemade white amaretto truffle drizzle!

Ingredients

Crust and Topping

1
box Pillsbury™ refrigerated pie crusts
1/4
cup chopped almonds
3
tablespoons turbinado sugar (raw sugar)

Filling

1/2
cup dried cranberries
1/2
cup dried cherries
3/4
cup amaretto
1 1/4
cups fresh blueberries
2
plums, cut into pieces
4 1/2
teaspoons cornstarch

White Amaretto Truffle Sauce

1/3
cup white vanilla baking chips
1/2
cup whipping cream
2
tablespoons amaretto

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 425°F. Let 1 of the pie crusts stand at room temperature 15 minutes to soften (keep remaining crust cold). Unroll softened crust in 9-inch tart pan with removable bottom; lightly press crust into fluted edge of pan. Run rolling pin across top of pan to cut off excess crust. Prick side and bottom of crust with fork. Bake 10 minutes.
  • 2 Chop cold pie crust into small pieces, adding almonds and sugar while chopping, to make crumbly topping. Set aside.
  • 3 In 2-quart saucepan, heat cranberries, cherries and 3/4 cup amaretto over medium heat 5 minutes. Add blueberries and plums. Cook 15 minutes longer. Stir in cornstarch. Pour filling into partially baked crust. Sprinkle crumbly topping over filling.
  • 4 Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until top is golden brown and filling is bubbly. Cool on cooling rack at least 15 minutes before serving.
  • 5 Meanwhile, place white chips in small heatproof bowl. In 1-quart saucepan, heat cream over low heat. As soon as bubbles form around edge of pan, remove from heat and pour warm cream over chips; stir until melted and smooth. Stir in 2 tablespoons amaretto. Refrigerate 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  • 6 Remove tart from side of pan. Cut into slices. Stir sauce well. Drizzle each slice of tart with about 2 tablespoons sauce. Store tart and sauce in refrigerator.
