Get the tasty flavor of turkey drippings in this simple gravy recipe.

Ingredients

1/4
cup drippings from roasted turkey
2 1/4
cups milk, heated
1/4
cup all-purpose flour
1/4
cup cold milk
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • 1 After removing turkey from roasting pan, leave drippings (turkey juices and fat) in roasting pan or add to 10-inch skillet. Stir heated milk into drippings.
  • 2 Mix flour and cold milk in small bowl until smooth. Stir flour mixture into hot milk mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly and scraping up brown bits in pan, until boiling and thickened. Stir in salt and pepper.
Tips

Make it your way! If you like thinner gravy, add 2 to 3 tablespoons more cold milk. If you prefer it thicker, add 1 tablespoon flour dissolved in 2 tablespoons cold water. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
