Ingredients

scoop chocolate protein powder (6 tablespoons)

cup almond milk

cup ice cubes

teaspoon instant espresso coffee powder or granules, steeped in 1/4 cup hot water

tablespoon unsweetened baking cocoa

tablespoon ground flaxseed meal

Directions

  • 1 In blender, place all ingredients. Cover; blend on high speed until smooth.
  • 2 Pour into glass. Serve immediately.
Tips  

You can use 1/4 cup brewed coffee instead of the steeped espresso powder.

Like cream in your coffee? Top with fat-free whipped topping.
