WOW! This is the first of a series of 10 Prize Winning Cookie Recipes. It is supposed to be reminiscent of the old fashioned Orange-Vanilla Ice Cream - Cream Sicle (sp?) from the Good Humor Man! Yum!

Hi Anon - You can find white vanilla baking chips near the chocolate chips in the baking aisle of most grocery stores.

Great flavor! True orange cream. The dough was a bit dry but the cookies turned out just fine without being too crumbly.

I had a roll of the sugar cookie dough. I let it soften up and added the orange extract- orange zest, food colors (use a glove when mixing it in) then added the white chips and baked them. AWESOME COOKIES

I'm going to bake these, but I'm going to add orange zest in addition to the flavoring and up the butter content to 6 T instead of 3.

I ended up using 6 tablespoons butter, melted, as the dough was too dry and would not stick together with just the 3 tablespoons. I also used just half the bag of vanilla chips. The cookies were difficult to form with just the half bag; if the full bag was in there I think it would have been too hard to form them because the chips would take up too much room!

These cookies are great hot out of the oven. They look just like the picture. Just have a little patience with the dough, it might take a bit to all come together evenly. People raved about the flavor.
