Enjoy these delicious bars baked using orange slice candies – perfect for dessert!

Ingredients

1/2
cup butter or margarine, melted
2
cups packed brown sugar
4
eggs, beaten
2
cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1
lb orange slice candies, finely chopped
1
cup chopped pecans
1
cup powdered sugar

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Generously grease 15x10x1-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • 2 In large bowl, stir together melted butter and brown sugar. Add eggs; mix well. Add flour, chopped candies and pecans; stir until well blended. Pour batter into pan.
  • 3 Bake 25 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Cut into 9 rows by 4 rows. Cool completely in pan on cooling rack. Remove bars from pan; cut each in half diagonally. Sprinkle bars with powdered sugar.
Tips  

Use kitchen scissors dipped in cold water to chop the orange slice candies.
