Treat your family with this grilled loaf made using parmesan cheese and butter. A perfect side dish that’s ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

1/2
cup butter or margarine, softened
1/3
cup shredded fresh Parmesan cheese
1
(1-lb.) loaf French bread

Directions

  • 1 GRILL DIRECTIONS: Heat grill. In small bowl, combine butter and cheese; blend well. Cut bread into 1-inch slices; spread 1 side of each slice with cheese mixture. Arrange slices into loaf shape; wrap securely in heavy-duty foil using double-fold seals.
  • 2 When ready to grill, place loaf on gas grill over medium-low heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium-low coals; cover grill. Heat 8 to 12 minutes or until butter is melted and bread is hot, turning occasionally.
Tips

Prepare the cheese mixture and spread it on the bread slices. After wrapping the loaf with foil, place it in the refrigerator until grilling time.

This grilled bread is a perfect companion to Margarita Steaks, fresh corn on the cob and ice-cold lemonade.
