Dessert ready in 20 minutes! Try this summer special fruit tart made using peach and strawberries in a new way - a delightful meal.

Ingredients

(10-inch) round sponge cake
1/2
cup strawberry jelly, warmed
1
cup sliced peeled peach (1 medium peach)
1/2
cup sliced strawberries
3/4
cup frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

  • 1 Place sponge cake on large serving plate. Brush edges and top of cake with half of the jelly. Arrange fruit on top. Drizzle or brush remaining jelly over fruit. Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving time.
  • 2 To serve, cut into wedges; top with whipped topping.
Tips  

Sponge cake can be found in the produce section of the bakery section of most supermarkets.

If a large sponge cake is not available, divide the jelly and fruit among 12 individual sponge cakes.

Garnish this summer tart with fresh strawberry leaves or mint leaves.
