Bring together the flavors of peach, apple, orange and spice in this refreshing drink that can be made ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

cups peach nectar or juice
2
cups apple juice

slices orange (1/4 inch thick), cut in half
1
teaspoon chopped crystallized ginger
1/2
teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4
teaspoon ground nutmeg
10
cinnamon sticks
Orange slices, if desired

Directions

  • 1 Place peach nectar and apple juice in water reservoir of coffee maker. Arrange orange slices loosely in paper filter in filter basket. Sprinkle remaining ingredients over oranges.
  • 2 Brew cider. Garnish with cinnamon sticks and orange slices.
Tips  

Next time, use cranberry juice cocktail or orange juice instead of the peach juice.

You can also make this cider on the stovetop. Heat all the ingredients except the oranges to boiling in a Dutch oven. Reduce the heat, and simmer 20 minutes. Strain the cider, and garnish with orange slices.
