Peanut Butter Cereal Cups

Who needs muffins? These easy, no-bake cereal cups taste just as good, and can be made in just a matter of minutes!

Ingredients

2
tablespoons butter
1/2
cup honey or brown rice syrup
1/2
cup peanut butter
5
cups Dulce de Leche Cheerios™ cereal
1/3
cup white chocolate chips
1 1/2
tablespoons Yoplait® French vanilla yogurt

Directions

  • 1 In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the honey and peanut butter. Stir until well mixed. Toss in the cheerioes and mix until coated.
  • 2 Press the Cheerio™ mixture into a muffin tin sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Press each cup of Cheerioes™ down firmly, so they are well-packed together, then allow them to cool completely, about 15 minutes. (You can place them in the fridge to speed up this process, if needed!)
  • 3 Remove the cereal cups from the muffin tin once cool. Place on a piece of parchment or plastic wrap.
  • 4 In a small, microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and yogurt JUST until melted. Stir together until smooth. Spoon mixture into a Ziploc bag. Snip a small corner off of the bag and drizzle the white chocolate-yogurt mixture over each cereal cup.
  • 5 Store cereal cups in cupcake wrappers, if desired. Serve for breakfast, afterschool snacks, and fun midnight treats!

Peanut Butter Cheerios Cups

As prepared by Cheeky Kitchen,

No time for cereal and milk in a bowl? Grab your Cheerios to go -- in these crunchy little hand-held bites that'll let you be your brilliant multitasking self!

There's something super fun about cereal. It's quick. It's crunchy. And it makes a great breakfast. Except, of course, on those days when you're running out the door and don't have time to pour milk over a bowl of Cheerios and get your breakfast snacking on.

Which is why these fun little Peanut Butter Cereal Cups are a great recipe to have in your back pocket. They can be made the night before a busy morning, and offer palm-sized snackability in two seconds flat. Better yet, you can make them without firing up your oven, so no matter how busy you are, you'll be able to find time to stock up on these homemade cereal cups, then have them laying in wait for those moments when you gotta get some cereal, and just don't have the time!

Start this recipe off with Dulce de Leche Cheerioes. Lovin' on this flavor. When you combine it with the honey and peanut butter in this recipe, magic things happen. For serious.

Dulce de Leche Cheerios

Once the cereal has been coated with a simple, sticky mixture of honey, butter, and peanut butter, turn it out onto muffin tins which have been lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.

Coat Cereal

Then, press the cereal mixture down into each tin until firmly packed in there.

Cereal in Muffin Tin

Mix up a crazay concotion of yogurt ganache using white chips and french vanilla Yoplait. We'll tell you how to do it in the recipe (below).

Yogurt Drizzle

Then drizzle that ganache right on top of your cereal cups. Too delish!

Drizzled Cereal Cups

Serve them up for snacks, quick breakfasts, or midnight noshes and you won't be sorry!
