No time for cereal and milk in a bowl? Grab your Cheerios to go -- in these crunchy little hand-held bites that'll let you be your brilliant multitasking self!
There's something super fun about cereal. It's quick. It's crunchy. And it makes a great breakfast. Except, of course, on those days when you're running out the door and don't have time to pour milk over a bowl of Cheerios and get your breakfast snacking on.
Which is why these fun little Peanut Butter Cereal Cups
are a great recipe to have in your back pocket. They can be made the night before a busy morning, and offer palm-sized snackability in two seconds flat. Better yet, you can make them without firing up your oven, so no matter how busy you are, you'll be able to find time to stock up on these homemade cereal cups, then have them laying in wait for those moments when you gotta get some cereal, and just don't have the time!
Start this recipe off with Dulce de Leche Cheerioes. Lovin' on this flavor. When you combine it with the honey and peanut butter in this recipe, magic things happen. For serious.
Once the cereal has been coated with a simple, sticky mixture of honey, butter, and peanut butter, turn it out onto muffin tins which have been lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
Then, press the cereal mixture down into each tin until firmly packed in there.
Mix up a crazay concotion of yogurt ganache using white chips and french vanilla Yoplait. We'll tell you how to do it in the recipe (below).
Then drizzle that ganache right on top of your cereal cups. Too delish!
Serve them up for snacks, quick breakfasts, or midnight noshes and you won't be sorry!
