This yummy peanut butter chocolate brownie will satisfy your chocolate cravings! Perfect for packing in lunches for the kids or for a treat for yourself!

Ingredients

1
box (1 lb 2.3 oz) Betty Crocker™ fudge brownie mix
1/4
cup water
1/2
cup vegetable oil
2
eggs
3/4
cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom of 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray. In medium bowl, stir brownie mix, water, oil and eggs until well blended. Spread in pan.
  • 2 In small microwavable bowl, microwave peanut butter uncovered on High 30 seconds; stir. Drop 20 spoonfuls of peanut butter in 5x4 rows over brownie batter. For marbled design, pull knife through batter and filling about 1 inch apart; turn pan and repeat.
  • 3 Bake 26 to 28 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean. To cut warm brownies easily, use a plastic knife and short sawing motions. Store tightly covered.
Tips

You can freeze the brownies by placing in a freezer container or wrapping in plastic wrap or waxed paper, then placing in plastic freezer bag in the freezer.

If making with Betty Crocker™ Original Supreme Premium brownie mix (1 lb 2.4 oz), make as directed on box for 8-inch or 9-inch square pan--except before baking, use 1/2 cup peanut butter and drop by 12 spoonfuls onto batter; swirl as directed in recipe.
