Flossie's Recipe Tips:
"For Maple-Nut Chewies, I decrease the vanilla to 1/2 teaspoon and add 1 tablespoon maple extract."
"To please the chocolate lovers in my family, I stir in 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips with the pecans."
"If I'm taking these bars on the road, I line the pan with aluminum foil. Then I can lift them out of the pan, cut them into bars and pack them in a disposable container."
