Dried cherries, pineapple tidbits and pecans top melt-in-your-mouth breakfast biscuits for a nutty and cheery start to your day!

Ingredients

1/3
cup dried cherries
2
tablespoons coarsely chopped pecans
1
can (8 oz) pineapple tidbits in juice, drained, 1 tablespoon juice reserved
1/4
cup butter, melted
1/2
cup sugar
1
can (7.5 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 8-inch round cake pan with cooking spray. Arrange cherries, pecans and pineapple in bottom of pan. Sprinkle with reserved pineapple juice.
  • 2 In separate medium bowl, place melted butter and sugar. Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Coat biscuits in butter and sugar. Place on top of mixture in pan.
  • 3 Bake 22 to 27 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and center biscuit is no longer doughy. Turn upside down onto heatproof serving plate; let pan remain over biscuits 1 minute before removing. Replace any topping, if necessary.
Tips  

Dried cranberries can be substituted for dried cherries, and chopped walnuts can be substituted for chopped pecans.
