These donut cakes are really easy to make using Betty Crocker™ SuperMoist™ Strawberry Cake Mix.
Combine cake mix, egg, oil and water in a mixing bowl. Mix on low speed using an electric mixer for 30 seconds, then increase speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes. Equally divide batter between the donut pans.
Bake for 29-34 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center of each cake comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then remove and set on a cooling rack. Cool cakes completely.
Roll out modeling chocolate or fondant into thin ropes or push through a clay extruder fitted with a small round hole. Cut into 3/4-inch sprinkles.
Whisk together melted butter, powdered sugar, 4 tablespoons milk, and lemon juice until smooth, adding more milk as needed. Stir in pink food coloring.
Pour glaze over donut cake. Top with sprinkles.
