Hi! If you opt for hamburger meat, make sure to fully cook it before adding to the pinwheels.

Question, if I use hamburg instead of pepperoni, do I cook the hamburg first?

This recipe is for a quick, easy 24 piece pizza snack. If you are taking these to a party at someone else's house, they will probably be happy to let you use their oven for the rolls, and microwave or stove top for heating the sauce to serve with. You can certainly call ahead to confirm your appetizer plans. If you would prefer to spread the dough with the sauce - prior to adding the cheeses and vegetables - then buy yourself a Cheese Whiz or some form of Cheese Rarebit Sauce (try Campbell's concentrated Cheese Soup [2 cans + 1 tsp. dried Italian Herbs]). Your group can dip the Pizza Rolls in a warm Cheese Sauce. At home you might even melt a 1 lb. brick of Velveeta with the 1 tsp. of dried Italian Herbs in your own microwave. Any variation, will make a very tasty treat!

Great appetizer. I put the pizza sauce on the dough before baking and it was fine--also added italian seasoning. Letting them set for a few minutes prior to serving is a good idea as they are easier to eat.

These sound great! I want to take them to a football party my husband's boss is hosting and don't want to ask to use the oven when we get there. Any ideas on how to keep them warm without them getting soggy?

Has anyone tried to put some pizza sauce on the dough first? Seems like it would be less messy and one less step for the eater.

This is my 'go to' recipe when I need to bring an appetizer to share--I simply assemble them at home and bring on a baking sheet and just pop into the oven when I arrive! Everyone loves them!

This is an easy treat to whip up. I like to add fresh herbs: oregano, rosemary and basil chopped up. A dry italian herb mix works great too!

Our family loves this recipe because we can add all kinds of different fillings to these. We often split in half so the kids can have what they want (usually cheese) and the grown ups can add more grown up stuff.
