A pizza with pizza rolls stuffed in the crust?! Crazy? Or just plain genius?

As prepared by Buns in my Oven,

Level up your pizza game with pizza roll stuffed-crust pizza!

Can we talk about pizza and boys? And, like, how they eat so much pizza that it doesn't seem physically possible?

Don’t get me wrong. I can down some pizza. More pizza than I care to admit to the Internet, even. A lot of pizza. I would make you a pie chart showing you how much pizza, because pizza is shaped like pie and that would be pretty crafty, but I don’t really do pie charts.

Anyway. Boys, man. They can usually even eat more pizza than me, which is kind of concerning.

If you’re looking for a new twist on pizza, like a pizza IN A PIZZA... well – look no further!

Pizza Roll Stuffed-Crust Pizza

You’re going to need pizza rolls and pizza crust. Because, like I said. Your pizza is ‘bout to eat your pizza.

Pizza Roll Stuffed-Crust Pizza

Start out by smooshing that crust all around on your pizza pan. It comes out of the tube in a rectangle, but just get all up in there and smoosh it out to fit. You won’t hurt anything. Be sure to leave some hanging over the edges. And, yes, smoosh is a technical pizza maker term.

Now, line those pizza rolls up around the edges of the pan, leaving about a 1-inch gap between the rolls and the edge of the dough.

Pizza Roll Stuffed-Crust Pizza

You guys. Pizza roll stuffed crust pizza. It’s happening.

Pizza Roll Stuffed-Crust Pizza

You’ll want to bake the dough for 10 minutes before adding any sauce or toppings. It’ll come out looking pretty sad and lonely.

Then pour on your pizza sauce.

Pizza Roll Stuffed-Crust Pizza

Top with a ridiculous amount of cheese. I use a full 8 ounces of freshly grated mozzarella per pizza, because I am insane and I like the cheese. All the cheese.

Pizza Roll Stuffed-Crust Pizza

Sprinkle on some parsley and dot with pepperoni or whatever you like on your pizza.

Pizza Roll Stuffed-Crust Pizza

Pop ‘er back in the oven and let it cook another 8 minutes. This time she’ll come out of the oven looking and smelling amazing.

Pizza Roll Stuffed-Crust Pizza

Let sit for two minutes before slicing.

Pizza Roll Stuffed-Crust Pizza

I mean, can you even deal? Because I can not.
