The lively combination of pomegranate and citrus is sure to add some fun this holiday season!

Ingredients

Simple Syrup

1/4
cup sugar
1/4
cup water

Cocktail

Ice cubes
1/4
cup Simple Syrup
1/4
cup pomegranate juice
2
tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur
2
tablespoons tequila
2
tablespoons fresh lime juice

Garnishes

Lime slices or curls
Lemon slices or curls
Pomegranate seeds

Directions

  • 1 Make Simple Syrup. In 1-quart saucepan, heat sugar and water over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, just until mixture boils and sugar dissolves, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat; cool.
  • 2 In cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes, add 1/4 cup of the cooled Simple Syrup and all remaining Cocktail ingredients. Cover; shake until chilled and well mixed. Pour through strainer into 2 chilled glasses. Garnish with lime slices, lemon slices and pomegranate seeds.
Tips  

To add flavor and a festive look, dip moistened rims of glasses in salt or sugar before pouring drinks into glasses.
