    Ingredients

    • 2  cups heavy cream
    • 2  tablespoons butter
    • 2  garlic cloves, minced
    • 5  large Yukon gold or red potatoes, peeled, thinly sliced
    • 1 1/4  teaspoons salt
    • 1/2  teaspoon pepper
    • 1/2  cup (2 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese

    Directions

    1. 1Heat oven to 375°F. In large saucepan, combine cream, butter and garlic; heat over medium heat until hot. Add potatoes; cook until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    2. 2Stir in salt and pepper. Spoon potatoes and sauce into ungreased 12x8-inch (2-quart) baking dish; spread evenly. Sprinkle with cheese.
    3. 3Bake at 375°F. for 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly.
