Ingredients

  • 1  package Betty Crocker® hash brown potatoes
  • 4  cups very hot water
  • 1/4  cup milk
  • 1  tablespoon Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
  • 1  teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 2  eggs, well beaten

Directions

  1. 1. Cover potatoes with very hot water in 2 1/2-quart bowl. Let stand uncovered 15 minutes. Drain thoroughly on paper towels.

  2. 2. Heat griddle or skillet over medium-high heat or electric griddle to 375º; grease well with cooking spray, vegetable oil or shortening. (Surface is ready when a few drops of water sprinkled on it dance and disappear.)

  3. 3. Stir together potatoes and remaining ingredients. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto hot griddle. Cook about 3 minutes on each side or until brown.
