Transform this powdered sugar glaze by adding a little coconut, almond or any of your other favorite flavored extracts.
For a richer icing, add a tablespoon of butter extract to the glaze. The buttery flavor will taste especially great with butter-based desserts.
To prevent the icing from running, make sure your dessert is completely cool before adding the powdered sugar frosting.
