Pump up your protein shake with pumpkin and creamy Greek yogurt.

Ingredients

scoop vanilla protein powder (6 tablespoons)
1/4
cup 1% milk
1
tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2
cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)

cup ice cubes
1/4
cup plain 2% Greek yogurt
1
tablespoon vanilla
1
tablespoon ground flaxseed meal
2
tablespoons packed brown sugar

Directions

  • 1 In blender, place all ingredients. Cover; blend on high speed until smooth.
  • 2 Pour into large glass. Serve immediately.
Tips  

For a fun alternative, use chocolate protein powder, and add 1 tablespoon unsweetened baking cocoa.

Molasses makes a lovely bittersweet stand-in for the brown sugar.
