Ingredients

  • 1/3  cup firm margarine or butter
  • 1  package Betty Crocker® golden pound cake mix
  • 1/2  cup chopped walnuts
  • 2  cans (21 ounces each) cherry pie filling
  • Frozen whipped topping, thawed, or ice cream, if desired

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350º. Cut margarine into cake mix (dry), using fork or pastry blender, until crumbly; mix in walnuts. Spread pie filling in ungreased rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches. Sprinkle crumbly mixture over pie filling. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with whipped topping.
