Ingredients

tablespoon oil

lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into thin strips

medium onion, coarsely chopped

medium green bell pepper, coarsely chopped

(14 1/2-oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained

(8-oz.) can tomato sauce

teaspoon sugar

teaspoons paprika

teaspoon salt

teaspoon caraway seed

teaspoon pepper

oz. (1 1/3 cups) uncooked rotini (spiral pasta)

Directions

  • 1 Heat oil in 12-inch skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat until hot. Add beef strips; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until browned.
  • 2 Add all remaining ingredients except rotini; mix well. Bring to a boil. Add rotini. Reduce heat to medium; cook 10 to 15 minutes or until rotini is tender, stirring occasionally.
