Potatoes add a new twist to your kid's favorite hot dogs and beans.

Ingredients

package (4.9 ounces) Betty Crocker™ scalloped potatoes
2
cups hot water
2/3
cup milk

to 8 hot dogs, cut into 1-inch pieces
1
can (15 ounces) chili beans, drained
1/2
cup shredded Cheddar cheese (2 ounces), if desired

Directions

  • 1 Heat Potatoes, Sauce Mix, hot water, milk and hot dogs to boiling in 10-inch skillet; reduce heat.
  • 2 Cover and simmer 16 to 17 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender. Stir in chili beans; sprinkle with cheese.
  • 3 Cover and heat, without stirring, about 3 minutes or until beans are hot and cheese is melted.
Tips  

Just for fun, try using 1/2 to 3/4 pound mini-hot dogs instead of regular hot dogs.

Serve dinner right out of the skillet to save on cleanup time.
