Ingredients

teaspoons paprika
1 1/2
teaspoons lemon-pepper seasoning
1/2
teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/4
teaspoon onion powder
1/4
teaspoon garlic powder
1/8
teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
4
boneless skinless chicken breast halves

Directions

  • 1 Heat grill. In small bowl, combine all ingredients except oil and chicken; mix until well blended. Spoon 1/4 teaspoon oil over each side of chicken. With fingers, rub spice mixture evenly over all sides of chicken.
  • 2 When ready to grill, place chicken on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 10 to 12 minutes or until chicken is fork-tender and juices run clear, turning once.
Tips  

To broil chicken, place on broiler pan; broil 4 to 6 inches from heat using times above as a guide, turning once.

For authentic Louisiana flavor, serve this with hot pepper sauce.
