Need just 2 servings? Use 2/3 cup water, 2 to 3 tablespoons milk, 1 1/2 teaspoons margarine, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 2/3 cup potatoes. To make 6 or 7 servings, use 2 2/3 cups water, 2/3 to 3/4 cup milk, 2 tablespoons margarine, 1 teaspoon salt and 2 2/3 cups potatoes. For any number of servings, use the larger amount of milk if you like extra-creamy mashed potatoes.
