Tips & Techniques

  • Kitchen Tip

Line the pan with foil for super-quick cleanup and to easily lift the fudge out of the pan so you can cut it evenly.

Ingredients

  • 1  can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
  • 1  bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
  • 1  oz unsweetened baking chocolate, chopped, if desired
  • 1 1/2  cups chopped nuts, if desired
  • 1  teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. 1Grease bottom and sides of 8-inch square pan with butter.
  2. 2In 2-quart saucepan, heat milk, chocolate chips and unsweetened chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. 3Quickly stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread in pan. Refrigerate about 1 hour 30 minutes or until firm. Cut into 8 rows by 8 rows to make 1-inch squares.
