Bisquick Original baking mix makes these savory muffins easy. Serve them for a crowd, or save them for a snack.

Ingredients

3/4
cup golden raisins
1
egg
2
cups Bisquick™ Original baking mix
2
tablespoons finely chopped fresh rosemary leaves
2/3
cup shredded white Cheddar cheese
2/3
cup milk
2
tablespoons olive oil
1/2
teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/4
teaspoon dried thyme leaves

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 400ºF. Lightly spray 12 regular size muffin cups with cooking spray.
  • 2 In small bowl, place raisins; add enough hot water to cover. Let stand 10 minutes; drain.
  • 3 In medium bowl, beat egg slightly. Stir in remaining ingredients just until moistened. Stir in raisins. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
  • 4 Bake 17 to 19 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
Tips  

On a holiday buffet, place a basket of these savory muffins alongside a jar of honey mustard and platter of sliced ham.
