This cream cheese spread has a fruity twist to it with added pecans – a great homemade spread.

Ingredients

(8-oz.) container cream cheese
1/4
cup chopped pecans
1/4
teaspoon rum extract
1
to 2 teaspoons milk

Directions

  • 1 In small bowl, combine all ingredients, adding enough milk for desired spreading consistency; blend well. Cover; refrigerate at least 2 hours to blend flavors. Store in refrigerator.
Tips  

Rum extract and chopped pecans give the spread nice flavor without becoming overly sweet.
