Ingredients

  • 1  (28-oz.) can tomato wedges or whole tomatoes, drained, chopped*
  • 1  (4-oz.) can chopped green chiles or 1 to 2 jalapeno chile peppers, seeded, finely chopped
  • 1/2  cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 1  teaspoon grated lemon peel, if desired
  • 1/2  teaspoon salt
  • 1/2  teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1/8  teaspoon pepper
  • 2  to 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2  tablespoons oil

Directions

  1. In medium bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Cover; refrigerate several hours to blend flavors.
