A little extra salt and brown sugar give this pecan pie a rich caramel flavor.

Ingredients

Pillsbury™ refrigerated pie crust, softened as directed on box
1
cup packed brown sugar
1
cup light corn syrup
5
tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
1
teaspoon vanilla
1/2
teaspoon salt
3
eggs
1 3/4
cups chopped pecans

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Make pie crust as directed on box for One-Crust Filled Pie, using 9-inch glass pie plate.
  • 2 In 2-quart saucepan, heat brown sugar, corn syrup and butter to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and salt. Cool 10 minutes. Beat in eggs with whisk until well combined. Stir in pecans. Pour mixture into pie crust.
  • 3 Bake 60 to 70 minutes or until set. Cool completely before cutting, at least 1 hour.
Tips  

Make up to a day in advance. After cool, just cover and store until ready to serve!
