This traditional Spanish drink combines wine and citrus fruit juices.

Ingredients

cup sugar

cup fresh lemon juice
1
cup orange juice
1/2
cup orange-flavored liqueur

(750 ml) bottles burgundy wine
1
lemon, sliced
1
orange, sliced

Directions

  • 1 In 4-quart non-metal container, combine sugar, lemon juice, orange juice, liqueur and wine. Refrigerate several hours. Just before serving, pour into pitcher; add lemon and orange slices. Serve over ice.
Tips  

For bubbly sangria, add 2 (10-oz.) bottles club soda just before serving.
